101 – Antiracism: How to be a White Ally

Queens Centre, Room 505

Admittance is limited to 15 people on a first-come, first-served basis.

This workshop is a space for white folks to dialogue around what it means to be an ‘ally’ to people of colour and Indigenous peoples. Conversations will aim to address apprehensions about involvement in anti-racist activism. It seeks to provide participants with the knowledge and understanding of tools and strategies that can be used to prevent discrimination and create communities that challenge systems of racism.

We aim to provide a safe space for engagement with anti-oppression and offer suggestions for practical action to combat racism in your social networks.

Please join us to learn how we can all work together to build a more inclusive community!

Free admittance; all welcome! Snacks will be provided 🙂
