Pay your Respects to the Death of Union Garment Factories

Thursday, March 1, noon
Stauffer Library, Queen’s U.

There has been a campaign this year to get Queen’s to adopt the Designated Suppliers Program, which will mean that Queen’s apparel is sourced only from union factories who pay a living wage. There will be a “funeral for union factories” on Thursday. Starting at Stauffer Library at 12 noon the funeral procession will travel down University Ave. and end at Gordon Hall, where the office of Dean Laker (Dean of student affairs) is located.

Please come out to participate in the funeral procession to support Queen’s adoption of the DSP- without it union garment factories will continue to disappear, and soon there won’t be any left. (wear black/dark colours is possible)
