OPIRG Toronto turns 25!
The Rebel Years
Saturday, June 2nd, 8pm
Concord Cafe 937 Bloor St. W (between Ossington and Dovercourt), Toronto
1982 was a special year because it marked the founding of OPIRG -Toronto. It has now been 25 years and in that time, many changes have been observed in this city and province. There is no doubt that OPIRG has been a part of building that change - of training new social activists, doing research, providing spaces, and being a constant resource to both campus and community groups. And they don’t intend to slow down any time soon!
In appreciation of all our campus and community allies, OPIRG-Toronto will be celebrating its Birthday and 25 years of heard work and meaningful change. Come for an evening of exciting
performances by local artists and DJs, food, drinks, and delicious birthday cake, OPIRG flashbacks from years past, and a chance to win one of our several prizes of the evening!
