Human Rights Initiative Award: Nominate until Nov 28th
The 2006-2007 Queen’s Human Rights Initiative Award nomination has been extended. The Council invites community members to submit nominations for the award to the Human Rights Office, in A-320 Mac-Corry Hall.
The Queen’s Human Rights Initiative Award is given annually to programs, projects or services, based at Queen’s or in the Kingston community, which have “made an outstanding contribution to the advancement of equality and human rights at Queen’s University.” Past award winners include Residence Life’s Peer Educator Programme on Sex, Intimacy and Dating (PEPSID), HIV/AIDS Regional Services’ Education Program, and ReelOUT Film Festival.
