Surveillance Awareness Week: Nov 26th - 30th

The sociology department at Queen’s University is hosting a Surveillance Awareness Week, a week long examination of our global surveillance society from November 26th to 30th:

On Wed Nov 28th Kristie Ball, Senior Lecturer in Organization Studies, will give a talk on Drills, Skills and Measured Breaks: Call Centres, Organization and the Surveillance Society from 1-2pm at Goodes Hall 304

On Thurs Nov 29th, Kevin Haggerty, Associate Professor of Criminology at University of Alberta, will present: Surveillance in the Modern World: Watching Big Brother expand from 11:30-12:30pm at Abramsky Hall 2
