A fundraising meeting in support of CCAMU and Robert Lovelace is planned for this Thursday evening, 8pm at 99 York Street. Please contact Susan Delisle at sdelisle[at]kingston.net if you plan to attend.

Ardoch Algonquin First Nation negotiator Bob Lovelace was sentenced to six months in jail and a fine of $25,000 for his role in a protest over uranium exploration on disputed land in eastern Ontario. Click here for a statement from The Ardoch Algonquin First Nation.
