two films about the tar sands and pipelines in Ontario

 FREE!

-Tuesday April 16, 7-9pm @ J.G. Simcoe Public School, 90 Wiley St.
(wheelchair accessible)
-Wednesday April 17, 7-9pm @ Queen’s Biosci Complex, Rm. 1102, 116 Barrie
St. (wheelchair accessible)

Join us for two films, Line 9: The Tar Sands Come to Ontario, a new short
film about the impact of Line 9, and H2Oil (http://h2oildoc.com/home/), a
story of greed and heedless progress in search of fuel, and an intimate
look at Alberta’s tar sands and those who live downstream.

Enbridge wants to use an antiquated 1975 pipeline to bring tar sands oil
across Ontario. This company has bulldozed indigenous communities,
poisoned humans and the environment, and caused more than 800 major oil
spills. There are many risks for Kingston if the Line 9 proposal is
approved, and absolutely no rewards. Get informed and join the fight.
