Loving Spoonful’s new community kitchen project is off the ground, and we’re running a supply drive to bolster our collection of kitchen tools. From December 3 to 20, 2010, people can drop off kitchen tools in good condition to Tara Natural Foods at 81 Princess St.
Our community kitchen project will help us distribute more fresh food to emergency food providers, while building relationships and sharing skills.
Our wishlist includes: large pots, pans, chopping and prep knives, cutlery, hand blenders, ladels, measuring cups, wide-mouth funnels, tea towels, dish clothes, aprons, bib aprons, wooden spoons, instant read cooking thermometers, oven mitts, pot holders, cutting boards (of all materials), plastic and steel prep bowls, mixing bowls, garlic presses, graters, baking sheets, mashers, plastic cups, plates, and bowls. We are happy to accept all donations of new or used kitchen tools and supplies in good condition.
