What you will find in the archives

The People’s History Project Archives contain hundreds of materials dating as far back as the early 1970s. Items that can be found in our archives include posters, newspaper articles, zines, pamphlets, audio recordings, photographs, letters, meeting minutes, handbooks, flyers, and other publications. These materials have been sorted by subject headings related to social justice issues, such as anti-racism, women’s history, queer history, and sustainability. A complete list of subject headings can be found below.

How to Access the Archives

Search the archive contents through the Alternative Resource Library online catalog. Multimedia icon and ‘Archived by the People’s History Project’ text are used to indicate collections from the People’s History Project.
