OPIRG (Ontario Public Interest Research Group) Kingston is all about research, education & action for social & environmental justice. We’ve brought students and community together through our rad programming & wide range of volunteer opportunities for over 30 years.

For over 30 years, we’ve supported research, education, and action for a wide range of social and environmental issues, from sexual violence on campus to the climate crisis.
We help create and support TONS of unique groups and initiatives like our People’s History Project, Mutual Aid Gardens, or Roots & Wings. Did you know ReelOut Queer Film Festival started as a working group of OPIRG?!
